Show Committee Chairs

Production Committee Chairpersons

These chairpersons are chosen for each production by the Vice President of Production or, in the case of seasonal productions or the annual Arts Festival, by the relevant producer.

Costumes

If a cast member wears it onstage, this committee is in charge of it.

Hair & Make-Up

This committee makes sure that the cast’s faces and hair look pretty or horrible as necessary for all performances.

Lighting

This committee makes sure that the audience can see the action on stage.

Props

If an actor holds anything at any point on stage, this committee is in charge of it.

Set

Anything on stage that isn’t a prop, a costume, or an actor was made or procured by this committee.

Sound

If there are any sounds onstage not coming from the actors’ throats or the band, this committee made it happen.

Stage Manager

This committee makes sure that everything, including the actors, makes it onstage on time and in the correct order.

Business Committee Chairpersons

These chairpersons are chosen for each production by the Vice President of Business or, in the case of seasonal productions or the annual Arts Festival, by the relevant producer.

Fundraising

If there are ads in the playbill, this committee put them there.

House & Tickets

This is the committee that lets you into the places you should be and keeps you out of the places you shouldn’t be.

Programs

If you have a playbill in your hand, this committee designed it and printed it out, as well as harangued everyone else into writing their bits to go in it.

Publicity

If you showed up to a show, you probably heard about it because of this committee.
