SGA Initiatives and Partnerships
SGA works closely with a number of different organizations over the course of the year. Listed below are some popular initiatives and partnerships that we work with on a regular basis to help improve the larger Bentley community. Take a look and if you want to get involved, email us at GA_SGA@bentley.edu.

Reorganization
In order to best serve the student body, SGA underwent an internal review of its structure. A proposal was drafted, detailing the reorganization. A formal vote on this reorganization took place at SGA’s General Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. The proposal passed and will be in a trial period for a semester beginning after the Spring election. After this time a vote will take place to determine whether or not to make the change permanent. The reorganization as it was proposed and as it will be in effect is linked below. As always, feedback is still welcome.

New GB Core Initiative

Gender Neutral Housing
SGA has been looking into the topic of gender neutral housing recently and is currently working on both a report and presentation that will be given in front of administration from Residential Life. The report is based off of a survey taken by hundreds of students from Bentley and is in support of what the students have requested (the presentation is simply based off of this report). A bill is also being written in support of this effort. As soon as the final version of the report has been completed it will be posted here for viewing and feedback.
The Bentley.edu Website
Bentley is currently updating their main site in order to allow for a smoother, better interactive interface. During this time, certain items (such as the drop down search menu) may be unavailable as everything is switched over to one application.
